Caption: The Wilhelmsen lines Cargo Ship TORRENS at San Francisco, California, about 1943 after she was converted to carry 1,700 troops. In 1966 TORRENS was renamed GEORGIOS C. under Greek Flag and was sold to the People's Republic of China for scrapping in 1970.
