Caption: The Wilhelmsen line freighter TORRENS is shown docked at San Francisco, California, probably early in 1942. She later became a troop transport until war's end. In 1966 she was renamed Georgios M. under Greek Flag. She was sold for breaking up in the People 's Republic of China in 1970.
