Caption: View of the instrument panel of petty officer Tadayoshi Koga, IJN, S aircraft, the first captured intact by U.S. forces for flight-tests in W. W. II. It was found in July 1942, after having lain on its back since 4 June 1942, when Koga was killed trying to land his aircraft in what he supposed to be a hard-surfaced ground, which turned out to be a marsh, the plane flipping on its back.
