Caption: View taken 10 July, 1942, on Akutan Island, in the Aleutians aircraft had been flown by petty officer Tadayoshi Koga, IJN, from the carrier RYUJO. Aircraft damaged on 4 June 1942, the pilot being killed when the plane flipped over on its back. This "Zero" was the first captured intact for flight-tests.
