Description: Colored machinery arrangement plan, including a cross-section of the hull through the boilers. The ship was launched in January 1865 at the C.S. Naval Works, Richmond, Virginia, but was not completed. Prior to its acquisition by the National Archives, this drawing was in the files of the U.S. Navy's Bureau of Construction and Repair. The original is plan # 81-12-2H in Record Group 19 at the U.S. National Archives. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
