The steam frigates FRANKLIN and COLORADO, the steam sloops CANANDAIGA and TICONDEROGA, the side wheeler FROLIC and the sailing vessels MACEDONIAN, DALE and SAVANNAH, compromising the Naval Academy practice squadron under Commander Stephen B.
