Caption: Collapsed kingposts amidships, in section destroyed by boiler explosion. Taken by Ron Strong while diving on her wreck off Rota, Marianas, Spring 1978. She had been sunk by aircraft from USS WHITE PLAINS (CVE-66), 23 June 1944, and now rests in about 90 feet of water some 500 yards offshore.
