Description: "The remains of 18 of the 131 Navy personnel who perished in the USS FORRESTAL disaster July 29, 1967, are interred at Arlington National Cemetery October 2. Navy Ceremonial Guard members fold the flags which draped the eight caskets during the burial service, conducted with full military honors. The services were attended by families of the 18 men, some 100 of their shipmates from the FORRESTAL and ranking Navy and Government officials."
