Description: Collection of 150+ photographs chronicling the life and career of Charles "Charlie" Wilson (1933-2010). Wilson graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1956 and later served as the US Representative from the Texas 2nd District between 1972 and 1996. Photographs focus on his time as a Midshipman, his service in the United States Congress, his work with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, and meetings with various dignitaries. Locations of photographs include: Photos include trips to Pakistan, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, London, French Riviera, Texas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and London [UK] Air Show. The collection is a combination of official and personal photographs. The collection also includes an oversized photo of Tom Hanks & Charlie Wilson (autographed by Tom Hanks).
