31 photographs from the early 1930s. Photographs show ships in the Panama Canal and Hawaii and many different types of aircraft at Great Lakes and San Diego, California. Ships in the Panama Canal are: USS Kearsarge; USS Saratoga; USS Humphreys; and USS Lexington. Aircraft shown are: T4M bomber; OL9 amphibious aircraft; Grumman FF-1 of VF5; Martin TG-2; PSY-1 sequiplane of VP-10 Squadron; O2U3 Scouting Force aircraft; N2Y1 aircraft; F4B-2 of the VF5 Squadron on USS Lexington in 1933; O2C-1 Helldivers; BM-1 on USS Lexington in 1934; USS Macon (ZR-5); USS Akron (ZRS-4); USS Macon hangar at Sunnyale, California; F3-B aircraft; USS Trenton & seaplane; F2B aircraft from VF-2 and a Marine Observation Plane; BM-2 of VT-1 Squadron; VS-1 Scouting plane.
