Description: Ten copy prints and negatives related to USS Kearny (DD-432) in 1944-45. Photos taken on board the ship during the invasion of southern France, near Anzio, Algeria, Japan, and in the Atlantic Ocean. Five page typed history of the ship during World War II. Scenes shown include inspection on deck, refueling at sea, loading a torpedo, firing guns, depth charge firing and exploding, and several bridge scenes. These prints and negatives are copies, the originals were returned to the donor.
