Description: Collection of seven photos related to USS Normandy (CG-60) during its 1997-1998 deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf (including during Operation Bright Star in late 1997). Whang was the PAO for the ship. USS George Washington (CVN-73) and USS South Carolina (CGN-37) are also seen, as is the battle group.
