13 black and white photos from the 1930’s donated by BMC Ralph E. Turpin, USN (Ret). Battleships steaming in formation; Saratoga class aircraft carrier and unidentified cruisers; USS Indianapolis (CA-35) with President Franklin D. Roosevelt embarked; USS Whitney (AD-4) or USS Dobbin (AD-3) with destroyers alongside; USS Hopkins (DD-249) and USS Perry (DD-340); aircraft in formation flight including Curtiss SOC-1, Grumman F3F-2 of VMF-2, T4M, F4B, FF-1 from VF-5, F2F-1 from VF-3, SB2U-1 from VB-3. Most photos have been assigned NH numbers.
