UA 58.04.01 USS Squalus Collection (SS-192)

Collection of approximately 100 photographs mostly related to the early service of USS Squalus between 1938 and 1939. Images include commanding officer LT Oliver F. Naquin, ship launching, salvage operations, rescue of survivors by Coast Guard Cutter Harriet Lane, various views of the ship showing damage, decommissioning,  recommissioning as USS Sailfish (1940), and decommissioning of USS Sailfish (1945).
