Description: Collection of images (album and 43 loose) related to the WWII era naval career of aircraft navigator Charles W. Sharpe. The photographs include locations such as England, Scotland, Iceland and North Africa. The photo album begins with a tent encampment in what is likely Algiers, North Africa. Also seen are images of the city, buildings, and people. Also included are tourist-type views of locations in London, England; Belfast, Ireland; and Iceland (aircraft from the air only). The loose photographs relate more to aircraft, though the locations are unknown. Included are several very good images of nose art as well as group photos that include Sharpe. Several aircraft, including the B-17 are visible.
