Description: Photo album (disassembled for preservation reasons) of 1920s ships and aircraft. It is unknown who the album originally belonged to. Ships included: USS Chauncy (capsized), USS Marblehead, USS Cincinnati, USS Memphis, USS Concord, USS Detroit, USS Trenton, USS Wright, USS Raleigh, & USS Patoka (with navy dirigible attached). Many images are from Chefoo, China and Hong Kong, including officers in rickshaws, buildings, parades (Chinese, British & US), and funerals. Also included are very good Crossing the Line Ceremony images. There are also lots of San Diego, CA images consisting of Balboa Park, the zoo, and naval base. Good aviation images consist of: launching from a catapult, refueling in the air, fleet in formation, & bombing planes.
