Description: 30 photographs from the career of RADM A.B. Metsger. Metsger helped develop torpedo plane technology during his naval service. He was a member of the graduating class from 1931 at the United States Naval Academy. These photographs show fellow personnel and civilians, often with identification, that helped design aircraft. FADM Nimitz, ADM Burke, and the FR-1 Fireball shown in some of the photographs.
