Title: Walter F. Merdian Photo Collection
Description: 12 copy prints and negatives taken during the European cruise of USS Wickes (DD-75) circa 1919 and from a Christmas Program booklet of the US Navy receiving ship, Commonwealth Pier, Boston, Massachusetts in December 1917. Also, included is a photocopy of the booklet. Several of the images from this collection have been cataloged at the item level into the NH image series (NH 98561, NH 98562, NH 98563, and NH 102938).
