Description: 46 photographs in a scrapbook with a handmade leather cover showing USS Farragut (DD-300). Album describes the naval service of Albert Chamberlain, who served on board Farragut 1925-1926. Album also includes a two page description of his time in the navy, and his Neptune certificate from crossing the line. Photos of sailors, including a portrait that is likely Chamberlain. Shipboard scenes include crew mustered on deck, torpedoes, seaplanes under tow, Farragut in drydock. Also seen are USS Shenandoah (ZR-1), USS Langley (CV-1), cruisers and battleships. Searchlight displays at night by ships. Army Around the World flyers. Many scenes around Hawaii including Pearl Harbor radio towers. A significant portion of this collection was assigned NH numbers, and some were removed to the NH collection.
