Title: USS Liberty (AGTR-5) Photo Collection
Description: Collection of 2 images related to attack on USS Liberty (AGTR-5), June 8-9, 1967 - photos are that of ship after the attack and a portrait of CAPT William L. McGonagle. Also included is a copy of the Congressional Medal of Honor citation awarded to CAPT McGonagle and a copy of the plaque honor roll of the men killed in the attack. The portrait of CAPT McGonagle has been removed from the collection and is cataloged in the NH image series at the item level (NH 97472) – see below.
