Description: Collection of 13 photographs from Chief Machinist's Mate R.W. Koch in China, 1937. Images include Koch in the city of Amoy (likely on liberty); several views of sailors on liberty at local scenic locations (specific city unknown); as well as a night time view of Hong Kong. There is also a view of Koch on aboard USS Sacramento (PG-19) in 1937. The USS Sacramento was assigned to the Pacific Fleet and helped to protect national interests in Shanghai, China during the 1930s.
