Description: 26 photos belonging to World War I sailor Robert L. Craner, given by his family to donor HMC Norbert Konwinski. Scenes during World War I in France, including blimps and blimp hangars, German tank, cemetery, street urinal. Scenes on and around USS Henderson (AP-1) circa early 1920’s including transfer of remains of Harry Lawrence who was supposedly killed and eaten by cannibals in the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico. One cardboard liberty ticket issued to Craner. Some photos have been assigned NH numbers and/or removed to NH collection.
