Description: Photographs donated by Capt. Ralph W. Hungerford. Photographs show Capt. Hungerford's service in various installations, including: US Naval Academy circa 1936; Charleston, South Carolina between 1946 and 1949; NAS Green Cove Springs for Boat Pool Service Group Survey; radio equipment; visit from Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz to Reserve Fleet in Charleston, South Carolina, ships "laying smoke"; visit by Admiral Melmet Ali Ulgen, Commander in Chief of the Turkish Navy in 1949. Also included is an oversized panoramic photo of the crew of USS J Fred Talbot (DD-156) dated June, 1933, at Gulfport, MS. R.W. Hungerford is near center at right of the CDR in the center of the photo.
