Kirk at Brussels, Belgium; at Copenhagen, Denmark with Mrs. Hewitt.

S-563-O: photo album containing 27 photographs taken at Manati, Cuba, April 1917 when USS Eagle (commanded by LT Hewitt) was guarding a sugar mill. The photos show ship’s crew serving as a landing party, on horseback, and in a machine gun carrying automobile. Also included are views of the salvage operations on the wreck of USS Memphis
