40 photographs of the United States Naval Academy, circa 1870, and 3 photo booklets from an 1898 Travel Series entitled “The American Navy.” Collection was originally donated to the Naval Historical Foundation by Marion Glover, and was subsequently donated to the Naval History and Heritage Command. Naval Academy photographs show the ground of the Academy, building interiors and exteriors, midshipmen drilling, but photos do not have captions. Booklets transferred to Navy Department Library.
