Description: Single oversized image of the Great Lakes Naval Training Station taken in 1917. The image shows station buildings, tents, and sailors in various formation and parade groupings on station grounds. There are large amounts of visitors and spectators along the parade route. The original owner of the image, Foster Earl Dowell, attended basic training at Great Lakes.
