Title: Russell Fry Photo Collection
Description: Collection of 25 photographs related to the naval service of Russell Fry aboard USS Farenholt (DD-491) during WWII. The images include Fry’s fellow crew in group shots both aboard USS Farenholt as well as on shore. Several shots show crewmembers painting the ship in Charleston, SC, two days before her decommissioning, April 1946. There are also several views of USS Farenholt at sea.
