Description: Two photos albums transferred from Georgina Cole Library (Carlsbad City Library). Original donations were anonymous, possibly from the family of Jack Gimpelson and another anonymous group. California lake and town photos from the 1930s, Hawaii during World War II, a PBY Catalina, photographs of unidentified Army & Marine officers and soldiers, and New York City. Group photos of Navy & Army Air Force soldiers in a posed photo from 1945 with names of men but no indication as to their assignment or location. Albums are primarily personal photos taken in the United States during WWII era.
