Locations include: trenches of Belleau Wood, France; concrete lined trench in Verdun, France; views of remains of landing craft on Omaha Beach and monument at Point Du Hoc, Normandy Beaches, France; overlooking “Purple Beach” in Okinawa (as seen from Kadena Air Field). It is unknown if CDR Bennett took the photographs in the collection.
