Collection of photographs, books, and scrapbooks from the U.S. Navy service of Rear Admiral Paul H. Bastedo. Primary subject is US Navy interwar cruisers USS Indianapolis (CA-35) and USS Quincy (CA-39), and photography circa World War I related to USS Utah (BB-31/AG-16) and Central and South America. Scrapbook pages loose and deteriorated, disassembled due to deterioration and preservation concerns, newspaper clippings not retained. Some photos have been assigned NH numbers. Books and programs transferred to Navy Department Library.
