This incident took place on White Beach, Lingayen, amongst the shore party personnel. They were soon attacked by Japanese dual purpose guns from the nearby mountain. The man was wounded in the leg and was brought to a shell hole and quickly given the necessary treatment by Medical Corps men and a shore party doctor.
