Navy Seabee Foundation

The Seabees are unique worldwide in their civilian and military contributions. There are countless Seabee stories to be told, shared and preserved. The full story of America – its unparalleled contributions in times of war and peace, its ingenuity, its rich history and boundless future – cannot be told without the story of the Seabees. And the inspirational story of the Seabees cannot be fully told without the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in service to the men and women who’ve served as Seabees.  Just as many have relied on the Seabees for more than 82 years, the Foundation relies on its generous supporters to carry out its mission. (In December, 2023, The CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation and the Seabee Memorial Scholarship Association merged to become the Navy Seabee Foundation. The Navy Seabee foundation will continue the programs of both organizations, this includes supporting the US Navy Seabee Museum.)

As a nonprofit, the CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation raised and gifted to the US Navy the funds necessary to build the state-of-the-art US Navy Seabee Museum in Port Hueneme. Here, the Seabee legacy is properly maintained for future generations, and Seabee stories are shared with the public to engage and inspire in all a genuine appreciation for liberty and those who serve and sacrifice on our behalf.  The Navy Seabee Foundation continues to provide special project support to the US Navy Seabee Museum.
