Naval Construction Regiments Post WWII

Naval Construction Regiments are an integral part of the Naval Construction Force and provide valuable construction support to Navy and Marine Corps units. The Naval Construction Force is an integrated force of both active and reserve units.

Regiments meet certain command requirements in particular geographical areas or situations. These units are composed primarily of the basic NMCBs supplemented in the planning stage. Regiments headquarters or staffs are echelons of military command, administrative control, and operational control, are tailored under Navy regulations to meet specific operational requirements.
