(Str)

The Confederate steamer Sharp was employed by the army as a despatch boat and transport in the Tallahatchie River. She was used to transport troops and ammunition in the Yazoo River in March 1863. Sharp reportedly was burned and scuttled by order of Commander Brown, CSN, in the Sunflower River in August 1863.
