Caption: In March 1815, the British 20-gun ship HMS NORTH STAR, Captain Thomas Coe, cruising off Cuba observed a schooner under land. Standing in and anchoring, he saw the men from the privateer escaping in their boats to the shore. Captain Coe lowered his boats in pursuit with a party of seamen and marines under Lieutenant Benjamin Baynton who captured three prisoners and the vessel.
