Description: (American Steam Yacht, 1903) Photographed prior to her World War I era Navy service. Acquired by the Navy in August 1917, this yacht was placed in commission on 24 December 1917 as USS California (SP-249) and was renamed Hauoli in February 1918. She was sold on 7 September 1920. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
