Description: Crewmen line the carrier's decks to watch Hawaiian hula dancers welcome their ship to Pearl Harbor, 8 April 1950. Valley Forge brought fighter, bomber and transport planes to replace Hawaii-based aircraft that she was to ferry back to the mainland for overhaul.
