Caption: Boats, climbing at 45 degrees onto sea wall, during a demonstration for eleven Latin American admirals standing on the sea wall, held near New Orleans about May 1941. The white boat had been built for the United States Navy. The dark ones were constructed for England. The LCPL landing craft of World War II was developed from this design.
