Caption: At the United States Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. Sometime during the late nineteen-twenties. The aircraft with the fuselage marking L-B-D is a Curtis F6C-3 which came into service in 1927 (after LANGLEY had been transferred to the Pacific. Therefore, this photograph must have been taken during fleet maneuvers, during which LANGLEY briefly returned to the Caribbean.
