Caption: This plaque probably dates from the mid-fifties. At that time, it was common practice for Pacific Fleet Destroyers to make ship emblems by adding a ribbon with the ship's name to the insignia of her squadron. The central part of this plaque is thus the regular emblem of Cort Ron Three.
