Caption: Neptune party held on board in 1938. After the inspection, King Neptune and his court emerged on to the flying deck via the large plane elevator to conduct the initiation ceremonies. In the front row can be seen from left to right: Davey Jones (in black), 2 nurses for the Royal Baby, the Royal Baby, Chief Gunner Rogers (Senior "Shellback", who crossed the line in 1901), the Royal Queen, King Neptune, Captain White, the Royal Princess. In the background are the various crews of helpers who managed the instruments of torture.
