Title: Darwin Raid, 19 February 1942
Caption: SS PORTMAR, holed by near misses and cannon fire, then run aground to sink by the stern, in the south arm of the harbor. It took approximately three months to refloat her, and about another three months to be towed to Sydney and repaired. She was then torpedoed and sunk off the New South Wales coast on her first trip.
