Title: SS VEDIC British Merchant Passenger Ship, 1918-34
Caption: The White Star Lines' VEDIC at New York at the end of World War I with returning troops. VEDIC was launched in 1917 and completed as shown in 1918 for war service. In 1920 she was completed as designed and served on various of White Star's routes until rendered surplus by the line's merger with Cunard Line in 1934, when she was sold for breaking up.
