Caption: Vera Cruz, 1914. Gen Felix Diaz, Senior Sandoval, and Senior Ocon, were granted Asylum aboard USS LOUISIANA. They were later given a safe conduct to Cuba aboard merchant ship. Admiral Fletcher is shaking hands with Diaz. Capt McNeely is at right C.S. Rowan, Lt Comdr, at his left. Courts farther aft Sandoval is just stepping off gangway and Ocon In derby is at extreme left. Original in possession of Capt. C. S. Rowan, USN.
