The officer in the lower right foreground (in Blue uniform) is West Galoc's commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Charles Clarkson, USNRF. The officer facing him (in Whites) may be the Naval Training Stations commanding officer, Commander Guy W. Whitlock.
