Description: (American Motor Boat, 1917) Photographed prior to her World War I Navy service. Acquired by the Navy on 8 July 1917 and commissioned on 17 August 1917, she served as USS Anado (SP-455) during World War I. The craft was returned to her owner on 26 February 1919. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
