Caption: Skeleton of the U.S. brig JEFFERSON. Last vestige of the Lake Ontario fleet of Commodore Isaac Chauncey, in the War of 1812. The fleet was built by Henry Eickford. It nestles close to Navy Point, where Eickford had his shipyard. Keel laid, 2 February 1814. Tons: 500. Guns: 18.
