Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for vehicle landing ships of the LSV-1 (Catskill) class. The drawing actually shows the single-smokestack LSV-3 (Osage) class. This plan, approved by Captain Torvald A. Solberg, USN, is dated 29 May 1944. It shows the ship's starboard side, bow, stern and superstructure ends. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
