Description: Drawing prepared circa 1944 by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for destroyers of the DD-380 (Gridley) class. Ships known to have worn this pattern included USS Bagley (DD-386), USS Helm (DD-388), USS Mugford (DD-389) and USS Ralph Talbot (DD-390). Some of these ships may have used different paints than those specified on this drawing. This plan shows the ship' starboard side, bow, stern, superstructure ends, and exposed decks. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
