USS Pensacola (CA-24) and USS Salt Lake City (CA-25) both wore this pattern. This plan, showing the ship's starboard side, superstructure ends, and exposed decks, is dated 7 April 1944 and was approved by Captain Torvald A. Solberg, USN. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
